Pastor Michael Tesema and his wife Mrs.Yenealem Belayeneh founded GOLC in 2002.

 The first church was located at Annette/Keel inside an old building church called Victoria ROYC.

The congregation consisted of 10-15 people, including the Pastor and his family. With the church's beginnings in place, the pastor vision began to take form. in 2002's a membership start to grow and GOLC was moving on up and moved to its second location just a few miles away to Annette and Runnymede. Even in their newer rental facility than before, the congregation and ministry continued to grow-

After a few years, GOLC Members were equipped and trained to be a competent leaders Even with short time we start to see a competent leaders who will take responsibility of the ministry tasks

And we change the Sunday morning services to afternoon service because of conflict schedule with the church that rent us the worship place Though the church has expanded from an office-sized "family church" to an enormous different kind of ministry including Outreach ministry. It has been recognized as one of the growing churches with extensive ministry with FMCiC and EECFC.

How does this happen? It happens through the hand of God. He plants a vision in one man. That man inspires a congregation through God's word to yearn to see His face. And that congregation fulfills the Great Commission of Jesus, spreading His message to the world. Our vision is to develop potential leaders and create a loving and caring environment. We are praying to see the love of God communicated through us. What happens next? It's all up to Him
